NIDDK Recent Advances & Emerging Opportunities, published since 2001, highlights select research advances made by NIDDK-supported scientists and their colleagues in the most recent federal fiscal year. These examples represent the large and diverse research portfolio funded by NIDDK and convey the enormous promise NIDDK research holds for the future.

The report also highlights NIDDK’s 75th anniversary, special features on NIDDK programs, and “Personal Perspectives” recounting the stories of people who gave time and effort to participate in or support NIDDK clinical research.
