Executive Summary

The purpose of this initiative is to promote development of innovative, enabling tools and technologies in the areas of kidney, urologic, and hematologic diseases. The initiative supports technology development projects that will catalyze new scientific endeavors or full-scale development efforts. This is a renewal of a concept approved in 2021, which and has been successful in attracting investigators from other fields to kidney, urologic, and hematologic research and funding meritorious projects.
